Executive pay Down Under is rising at an even faster rate that U.S. top exec pay, details a new Australian Council of Trade Unions report. Australia’s trade unions are calling for a cap on CEO base salary set “at a maximum of 10 times” average worker wages and a new higher corporate tax rate on firms that pay their CEOs over $1 million.
