Twenty years ago, the CEO of fast-food giant McDonald’s pocketed compensation that equaled about 230 times the pay of a full-time McDonald’s worker paid the federal minimum wage. The $8.75 million the McDonald’s CEO took home last year topped the take-home of a full-time McDonald’s minimum wage worker by 580 times. (source)
